The following terms and conditions together with our Privacy Policy apply to your access to and use of our online store and the supply of goods ordered via our store and the material provided within the website. By ordering goods from our online store, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and conditions.

Product Prices

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of 10% GST (Goods & Services Tax). Prices displayed do not include delivery, installation or pick up from freight depots.

Aus Safes reserves the right to change and update prices without notice to ensure the most competitive prices are offered.

Payment Option

We currently accept Visa & Mastercard. American Express cards incur a 2.5% fee. 

The full payment for your order (including the product price and applicable delivery charges) is deducted from your credit card on completion of your order. Credit card details are processed using at least SSL 128 bit encryption and are not stored by us. Aus Safes utilises ANZ online merchant facility.

Large transactions may involve additional screening and we will require confirmation on key details before we proceed to fill the order. In this event, we will contact you.

Purchase Orders

Aus Safes accepts official purchase orders from Businesses, Education, Health and Government departments. Purchase orders can be emailed to sales@aussafes.com.au or faxed to (03) 9318 9877

Aus Safes Price Beat Policy

Show us evidence of a formal written quotation for the identical product advertised less than 7 days before your enquiry. Once we verify the price is genuine and the product is identical and ready for immediate delivery (out of stock items in valid) we will beat the price for you.

The exclusions are:

  • Conditional offers, such as package deals, cash back, bonus, bulk purchase or limited quantity
  • Trade, special event, club or membership offers, or prices not available to the general public
  • Clearance, seconds or refurbished lines, or ex demonstration or display offers
  • Offers by any resellers, classifieds, auction sites, manufacturers, distributors or importers
  • Offers that require delivery from an overseas based distributor direct to the customer
  • Platinum Safe branded safes
  • Advertising errors (either ours or competitors)

Returns Policy

Returns are not accepted for exchange or refund for change of mind. The consumer is responsible for reviewing products weight, dimensions and specifications. We recommend consumers carefully preview any orders before adding them to the shopping cart and proceeding with an order.

If there is a fault with the product the consumer must inform Aus Safes within three days of receiving the goods. Aus Safes will investigate the issue. If the product is deemed to be faulty Aus Safes will issue the consumer with a returns number. Goods to be returned must be in original packaging / boxes and undamaged. Faulty goods will be exchanged with the same product originally purchased.

If the product is damaged during freight the consumer must notify Aus Safes with 24 hours of receipt of the goods. Aus Safes will investigate the issue on a case by case basis.

If the consumer receives the wrong item they must notify Aus Safes within 24 hours. The item must be kept in original packaging / boxes, undamaged and unused. The item will be picked up and the correct item ordered will be delivered to the consumer.

Delivery Costs

Aus Safes freight calculator will provide delivery chargers based on the products weight, dimensions and postal area. The freight calculator will also provide pick up charges from depots which incorporates the cost to freight the goods from the warehouse to a depot location. Freight charges may change and the final freight charge will be determined at time of purchase.

The receipt of goods requires a signature upon delivery. If recipients are not at the delivery location as previously arranged the consumer will incur additional delivery charges.

Aus Safes Delivery Options Include:

  1. Full Delivery & Installation Service - Safe is delivered to the premises. The safe is positioned into the specified location and is professionally installed as previously arranged by Aus Safes.
     
  2. Delivery to Site – Safe will be delivered to the site only. It is the receiver’s responsibility to remove the safe off the truck, followed by positioning and installation. The receiver must be aware of the weight and dimensions of the safe to determine if they can lift and manoeuvrer the safe appropriately.
     
  3. Delivery to Door (Tailgate) - Safe is delivered to the outside of a ground level front door only (Not taken up/down any steps). The receiver is to move the safe into the premises, position and install. It is the responsibility of the receiver to be aware of the weight and dimensions of the safe to determine if they can manoeuvrer the safe appropriately.
     
  4. Pick up from Freight Depot – The purchaser will pick up the safe from the depot location selected. Freight calculator chargers can change and the final cost is determine at the time of check out. The purchaser must be aware of the weight and dimensions of the safe to determine if they have the equipment to safely transport and manoeuvrer the safe.
     
  5. Pick up from Warehouse – The purchaser may arrange to pick the safe up from the Melbourne based warehouse. The purchaser must be aware of the weight and dimensions of the safe to determine if they have the equipment to safely transport and manoeuvrer the safe.

Warranty

Aus Safes provides manufacturers’ warranties based on the manufactures warranty time frames. If a product is believed to be faulty and is within the manufactures warranty period please contact sales@aussafes.com.au and request an official warranty form. This is to be completed and returned to Aus Safes for review.

Items will be reviewed upon inspection either onsite or will be freighted to a service agent. After the inspection a warranty repair will be granted if it is a legitimate product fault. Replacement or repair may be required at the discretion of the manufacture and or service agent. Aus Safes will reimbursed freight charges if the issue is a legitimate product fault.

If it is a fault caused by the customer the customer is responsible for any service calls and return freight charges.

Content Updates

The Material may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. Aus Safes makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the content and material or about the results to be obtained from using the site or the material. Use of the site and the material is at your own risk. Changes are periodically made to the site, and may be made at any time.

Company’s Liability

Aus Safes does not warrant that the site will operate error-free or that the site and its server are free of computer viruses and other harmful goods or conditions. If your use of the site or the material results in the need for servicing or replacing equipment or data, the company is not responsible for those costs. Aus Safes and its suppliers make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the material, services, software text, graphics, and links.

Product Specification Changes

Aus Safes strives to continually improve and upgrade products and services to offer the highest quality products and services to the market. Aus Safes reserves the right to change product details and specifications based on manufacturer’s updates at any time without notice.

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions on our website are accurate. However some inaccuracies, typographical errors or misinterpretations may occur. We reserve the right to correct such inaccuracies or typographical errors as they are identified.

All depictions contained on the website are for illustration purposes only. Because of differences in picture inks, computer monitors and printer ink, colours of the actual product may vary slightly from those observed.

Consequential Damages

In no event shall Aus Safes, its suppliers, or any third parties mentioned at the site be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, incidental and consequential damages, lost profits, theft or damage) resulting from the use or inability to use the site and the material, and use of products purchased on the site.

Links to Other Sites

The site contains links to third party websites. These links are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by the Company of the contents on such third-party Web sites. The Company is not responsible for the content of linked third-party websites and does not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of material on such third party websites. If you decide to access linked third-party websites, you do so at your own risk.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aus Safes, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from your use of the Material (including Software) or your violation of the terms or conditions of this agreement.

User Information

Any information provided by you will be kept secure and will not be provided to any third party, delivery companies and service agents excluded. 

Aus Safes may use the information it obtains relating to you, including your IP address, name, mailing address, email address and use of the site, for its internal business and marketing purposes. Please refer to our full privacy policy.

Out of stock

We aim to ensure all items within our online store are available at all times.  If you purchase and the item is out of stock we will contact you to discuss when the item will be available and an expected delivery date. Should this not suit your requirements an alternative product will be suggested. A refund will be granted if the expected delivery date or alternative product does not meet the customer’s requirements.

Use of Material, Copyright

The contents of the site, such as text, graphics, images and other material, are protected by Australian and foreign copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorised use of the material may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not sell or modify the material or reproduce, display, publicly perform, distribute, or otherwise use the material in any way for any public or commercial purpose. The use of the material on any other website or in a networked computer environment for any purpose is prohibited.

The use of textual and graphical material on this Site for your commercial use will incur a fee of $500AUD + GST per copy for printed material or $500AUD + GST per page per day for online reproductions. By using any graphical or textual material from this site you agree to incur this charge and agree to be invoiced for the full amount within the standard terms of service offered by Aus Safes.

Entire Agreement

These Terms (including any terms or policies incorporated by reference) set out the entire agreement between you and us concerning its subject matter and supersedes all prior communications.

Alterations

We may alter these Terms from time to time by posting the altered version on our website. You should visit the website regularly to keep up to date with any alterations. In the case of an alteration, the altered Terms only apply to goods ordered via the website after the alteration takes effect.
