SCEC endorsed safes

Aus Safes is an accredited distributor of Government Safes and Government Filing Cabinets. Our full range of SCEC endorsed safes and cabinets offer very competitive prices to government departments.

SCEC approved security containers are for storage of classified and sensitive information. The manufacturing and specifications of SCEC safes and SCEC filing cabinets provide a high level of force protection. They’re designed to supress significant delay from surreptitious attack and have undergone rigorously testing to ensure they comply with Government regulations.

SCEC (Security Construction and Equipment Committee) is a security committee responsible for assessing and approving security equipment for use in Australian Government departments and agencies.

SCEC CLASS GRADES A, B & C

SCEC endorsed safes and filing cabinets are given a Class grade rating of A, B or C and are tested to ensure they comply with government standards. There are three levels of SCEC approved safes and filing cabinets, strongroom doors and frames.

Strict testing is required to meet the classifications for SCEC endorsement. SCEC Endorsed security products are used by Australian defence and Government departments and agencies.
